Nicola's Tasting Note:
Vibrant purple black with a juicy, black fruited nose, perfumed with a nose of cassis, creme patissiere and a light floral note. Gorgeously pretty black fruits on the palate, sweet, with ripe tannins behind, layered and rich with lovely purity on the finish

Grower Information: Very much a family-run Domaine, Bertrand has been joined by his daughter Axelle and together they are managing the four-hectare
estate. They have some vertiginous vineyard sites high up in the Côtes above Nuits St Georges and the sheer class and
excellence of their wines shine through – very much adhering to the traditional principles of terroir and work in the vineyard
over manipulation in the winery, they nonetheless embrace new technology and practices to continue to produce exemplary wines.
The majority of their wines come from old vines and the purity of fruit is stunning.
50 year old vines, located at the bottom of the slope, near Vosne-Romanee. The soil is relatively deep clay and limestone. The wines are fleshly and full with good length.
